La Jolla Beach Maternity Photo Shoot

This beach maternity photo session was a lot of fun!

We did a stylized photo shoot (see other blog posts) for the mom-to-be and then we captured some beautiful couples beach maternity portraits :)

At first her husband was reluctant to be included in the maternity portraits (I guess he thought the focus would be all on mom because of our stylized shoot!) but we captured some beautiful, intimate shots of the two of them which will be very meaningful to both of them as well as to their child as time goes by!

These candid moments are so meaningful to preserve in photos.

Some people may be afraid to have their picture taken by a professional, but it's exactly the opposite - a professional photographer will be able to put you at ease, direct you to the best 'look' and location, help with natural posing, and capture candid moments while you're actually having fun :) Then, if your photographer is also an artist who knows how to retouch effectively and naturally, you'll get the whole deal :)
